Hi. I have some Phenacovolva from Singapore that I would appreciate confirmation of species ID.
The first two resemble P. barbieri, but only the beached shell is striated mid-dorsally. The other shell has axial strong growth ridges without mid-dorsal striation.
The animal of the live taken shell is shown here:
I understand mid-dorsal striation separates both species, but the shell without the striation seems to conform well to the coloration of barbieri with its distinct banding, bright terminals, and thick labrum.
Another specimen appears to be Phenacovolva fusula, but a confirmation would be helpful. (~25mm)
