Hello, all,
a couple of years ago i found a lot of Cyphoma gibbosum, and one which is quite different. it is more elongate, white instead of orange, and it seems to have a second 'rim'. could it be signatum or mcgintyi?
will post a picture soon.
regards,
Jeroen |

Dear Jeroen,
it is nearly impossible to know the ID of a Cyphoma species by description alone. At least a picture is important.
Ciao, Dirk |

hello
here i am with some pictures...
however not the best pictures i can take with my camera.. lichting is not well.. however the difference between the shells is visible..
i think it is a signatum?
the smaller shells are two regular C gibbosum which i found on the same day and on the same reef.
the shells were all empty, so i can't tell you if there were differencies between the animals.
regards,
Jeroen
